Svyaztransneft has participated in volunteer environmental campaigns dedicated to the World Environment Day.
Employees of Middle Ob branch of Svyaztransneft (Surgut) have joined the Tsveti, Surgut (“Bloom, Surgut”) event organised by the Directorate of Environmental Management and Ecology of the city administration. Volunteers planted 100 larch-tree saplings on the bank of the Chornaya River.
Employees of Svyaztransneft’s executive office (Moscow) and representatives of the Mospriroda state budgetary nature conservation institution cleaned up the territory of the pond located in the Bitsevsky Les natural and historical park. The campaign was carried out as part of the programme for conservation of unique water bodies of the Ekologia (“Ecology”) national project.
“Employees of the Company regularly participate in various projects aimed at conservation of nature, wildlife objects and their habitat. As part of our campaigns, we demonstrate that we’re not indifferent to environmental issues,” said Marina Shirokova, Chief Officer of the Division for Environmental Safety and Rational Nature Management of Svyaztransneft.
