Svyaztransneft's West Siberian Branch (Tyumen) has begun the installation of transceiving parabolic antennas on antenna-mast structures (AMS) in Sovetsky District of Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area - Yugra along the Krasnoleninsk - Shaim - Konda oil trunk pipeline.
The equipment is being installed within the construction of the industrial and engineering communications system at the section between Krasnoleninsk and Konda communication centres.
24 transceiving parabolic antennas with the diameter of 1.2 to 3 meters are planned for installation at seven AMSs by April 2019. Up-to-date reliable communications will be provided for Uray Oil Trunk Pipeline Directorate of Transneft Siberia on the basis of a hybrid digital radio-relay line and wireless broadband access.
The communications network will connect 26 control and monitoring stations, covering more than 340 km along the oil trunk pipeline in Kondinsky, Sovetsky and Oktyabrsky Districts of Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area - Yugra. The completion of the installation is scheduled for July 2019.
Representatives of the Khanty-Mansi branch of the Main Department of State Expertise (Glavgosexpertiza of Russia) Federal Autonomous Institution were present during the installation at forwarding relay stations (FRS) 2 and 3 and performed relevant timing observations. The obtained data is planned to be used in the development of new standards for estimating the costs of installation of antennas at AMS.
