A project was implemented at Volga and Kama Production and Technical Directorate of Svyaztransneft to commission IP automatic telephone exchanges (IP-ATE) at Mikhailovka, Bugulma, Belaya, Almetievsk and Kovali communications centres (CC), located in the Republic of Tatarstan.

Construction of a fibre-optic communications link (FOCL) has been completed at the Upper Volga branch of Svyaztransneft (Yaroslavl) within the Kirishi initial pumping station – Krasny Bor line operation dispatcher station – Pulkovo oil depot section, with an offshoot to Nevskaya products pumping station.
The works commenced in August 2016 and took place in four districts within Leningrad Region and St. Petersburg. The total length of the new FOCL is 240 km.
