Svyaztransneft completed the final stage of the first round of the Second Global Scientific and Technical Youth Conference (STYC) of Transneft and the International Association of Oil Transporters member companies. The event was held in the electrical communications workshop No. 6, the Upper Volga Branch (St. Petersburg) and involved 16 young professionals from the Company’s branches and the administration.

Svyaztransneft successfully completed the comprehensive audit of the energy (EnMS), environmental (EMS), and occupational health (OHMS) management systems.
New communication hubs (CH) have been built at three OPS’s as well as three earth stations for satellite communication (ESSC) have been installed to ensure communication for control over the operation of the pipeline.
An intercom and supervisory control system was put into operation in the Siberian branch of Svyaztransneft (Tomsk) under the technical upgrading programme. The work was underway from April until August of this year.
Baikal Region branch of Svyaztransneft (Bratsk) commissioned a new communications centre at the site of Central Maintenance Division and Production Service Shop (CMD and PPS) Angarsky of Kuyumba - Tayshet oil trunk pipeline (OTP) of Transneft East. The line was under construction from March 2016.
Irina Chikunova, Metrology Engineer of North Caucasus Branch (Novorossiysk) of Svyaztransneft became the winner of the first territorial contest “The Best Metrologist of Kuban” among transportation enterprises of the fuel and energy sector.
